Your high potentials will reach the top of their learning curve faster if they are assisted by a professional.

Principles of the value offering:

-  Management style in the CEE region is very different from what it should be: no or very low respect

to subordinates and lack of real teamwork.

-  Young managers in the region need coaching on leadership and many times also on effective

    management and problem solving techniques.

-  Companies tend not to focus on personal development but still expect quick results.

-  We help your managers or high-potentials to become better leaders and managers who are able

to make the right decisions and handle resources to maximize value-added.

- We use personal, one-on-one coaching to provide valuable feedback to the person and equip him with tools to increase level of
   performance.

Managers in Hungary, and in the CEE region in general, still tend to be rough (or sometimes the other extreme: too casual and friendly) with subordinates, distance themselves from the blue collars and concentrate on the quality of company car and cell phone model more than it would be desired. Formation of silos (ie. separation of departments) is also an everyday and unfortunate phenomenon numbing an operation and hindering development of real team work.

The above stem from the fact that international management culture have been evident in Hungary only in the past 15 years when the first manufacturers arrived. Young managers simply have not had the chance to become mature leaders partly due to their companies not taking efforts on assisting their personal development and partly due to the local culture tolerating unprofessional behaviour and conduct.

Employers are interested in results and focus on developing the professional knowledge related to the operating field of the managers. However, even this process may be neglected and leaders get stuck on a certain level that makes professional managers hard to find in the country.

One of our efforts is to convince employers on the need for personal coaching which provides benefits for both parties, the company and the manager or high-potential being mentored. We spend the entire coaching period together with the mentoree following him to meetings, conf calls or simply walk around on the shop floor. We observe his behaviour and reactions in the particular situations and provide immediate feedback after the certain event. We draw his attention to what he said/done and how, what could have been done better or what tools can help him to be more successful next time.

Our activity starts with an interview with the champion (usually the manager of the mentoree) to understand the goals and meet the person to draw a baseline. We stick with the mentoree for the period acting as his shadow during the day. We never interfere with the happenings on the spot but provide the feedback afterwards and draw a picture of the situation together. As many people take feedback as critcism rather than help, we carefully develop the relationship with the person in order for the coaching to be as effective as possible.

Besides personal development, we also support our Clients with professional coaching aiming to increase the level of expertise of the mentoree in his respective field. With extensive background in almost all aspects of mass manufacturing, we provide professional mentoring services for companies operating primarily in this field.

Our Mentoring services are part of our Interim Management package and is offered on a daily-rate basis.
